does not work on Mavericks or later - great on older OS - abandoned app

The review I left when I was running Mountain Lion was 5 stars however don’t buy this abandoned app if you run 10.9 or newer as it won’t work and the developer hasn’t updated the app since Feb 2013.

The app crashes on Mavericks and will not record anything on the screen. The developer isn’t interested in even warning new customers that this is a known bug and that would take maybe 20 minutes for them to update the listing here. It’s a great tool and I got my money’s worth on 10.8 but to not have a warning for new purchasers seems a sign that this app should be removed from the store by the developer if they don’t indicate what the system requirements are. Two stars. I hope an update arrives or at least the developer communicates that it can’t be patched in the next few weeks.

For me, time to spend money on an app that is funded well enough to work on Mavericks. Don’t buy this if you want to use it on 10.9 or newer OS despite what the text of the app says, it’s not compatible with 10.7 and newer - it’s only compatible with 10.7 to 10.8.5

If you run 10.8 or 10.7 this app is just perfect for recording a quick capture to show others how to navigate a web service, set up an account or just make a short product demo.
